Firstly: its okay, we haven’t left the EU without a deal, so the A31 lorry parking scheme will not be operating. Phew!
Secondly: There are lots of lots booked in for for Saturday.
Thirdly: We have a lot with some local interest: The Tichborne Claimant. A gentleman from Australia claimed to be the heir to the Tichborne Estate between New Alresford and Cheriton in the late 1800’s. It includes several books, a print and film poster. It was one of the longest running cases in British legal history. The court records look like a set of Encyclopedia Britannica. No spoilers. You can read what happened.
Fourthly: The rugby will have finished and the weather is awful. So please come for a hot beverage and home made cake. And be prepared to bid. (Cash machines are only a 100m away).
Viewing 12:30 Auction at 2pm.
